“future self”
I guess I always pictured that some stronger future adult me would be the one prepared and capable to achieve my dreams. I pictured someone who had everything sorted out, my ideal self. But, what I’ve come to realize is that that me is this me…in other words, the person that has to do those things to achieve my dreams is ME right now. There will not be a time when I am fully ready to be a big girl.
Time to stop making to do lists for my future self.
